"Not everybody can live in paradise, but for the price of a ticket you can at least purchase a temporary admission".....The New London Day
"Inch for inch, Stonington, Connecticut, may well be New England's prettiest village... surrounded on three sides by salt water."..... EARLY AMERICAN HOMES

Once every 3 years, residents of Stonington open their gardens to visitors who can walk from garden to garden along shady village streets. The funds raised from this event help to support community programs designed to educate and encourage interest in the environment, conservation and civic beautification, as well as to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening.
